Company culture is an international movement. Corporate board rooms of the world’s top companies are abuzz with talk of employee happiness and well-being. Organizations like Zappos, Google, and Southwest Airlines are realizing that happy employees create a better bottom line.
But this isn’t just for the big boys – companies of all sizes are catching wind of this crucially important area of leadership, dedicating time and resources to ensure that they’re offering a superlative working environment. They know that cultural capital is the ultimate competitive advantage.
So how can you secure that competitive advantage? Training your top staff on how to create outstanding company cultures that will increase your ability to attract and then retain the best talent.
WHAT are we offering?
We’ve created an interactive training program for your star employees – it is called Leading Organizational Cultures for Wellbeing and Happiness. It teaches your team the ins and outs of organizational culture, wellbeing, and happiness. They’ll come away inspired and educated on the latest research and practices in the field, eager to better their workplaces and boost your bottom line.
By ensuring that your organization’s leadership has these skills, you’ll be building a foundation for lasting, long-term success and innovation. Companies that prioritize culture, wellbeing, and happiness are the ones able to recruit (and keep!) the world’s top talent. This is a major cultural shift, and one that your company can’t afford to ignore.
In addition, your staff will undergo an invaluable team-building experience over the course of the class. The group will meet for four hours every two weeks, offering a significant chunk of time to foster bonding, comradery, and rapport – key elements in creating a work environment conducive to happiness and well-being.
HOW to get started?
The first step is to suggest a college or university near you where you would like to see the class held as what we offer is only available through and in partnership with educational institutions. You suggest a college(s) to us and we’ll do the legwork to determine if they’re interested, without divulging who’s is wondering.
If there’s a mutual interest, we’ll meet with you and the college rep to design the class you want. Navigating our menu of class options is easy – just point, click and enjoy! There’s no obligation involved, and no cost to you for this process.
The Institute will handle all the details, with no fee to your organization or the school – class days, times, cost, agenda, etc., all customized to accommodate your employees. This is not a canned consulting firm workshop where one size fits all – it’s a customized educational experience. All class materials will be provided at no cost to the college. The Host College or university decides upon fees for employee participation.
WHY does it need to be held on a college campus?
There are several reasons. These include:
The campus environment is conducive to learning — we all remember the stimulation, comradery, and magic of being on a college campus.
Colleges value education over profit.
Colleges are generally close to employees, insuring low travel expenses for both students and trainers/consultants leading the course.
This supports the local community and its educators, versus funding some consulting firm on the opposite coast.
About the course:
The class includes 18 international experts and organizational leaders teaching via engaging videos, books, and articles. The fast-paced sessions are guided on-site by professional facilitators, usually from the local community.
Far from the traditional sit-and-listen schoolroom archetype, this course is designed as an engaging, interactive and above all, inspirational experience. Built as a collaborative workshop, the curriculum is set up to shape your employees into experts in the field of organizational culture.
